You Are First Fiddle In Your Concert, Always Poem by Chuy Amante

You Are First Fiddle In Your Concert, Always

Rating: 5.0

Don't push me into the second row
and make me second fiddle, No!

This is my concert, my stage, my town, my planet...
I'm always putting myself in the
First Chair dammit
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hey, it's my surfboard
and my sweet wave
let me ride it long with wisdom
or massage my misbehave
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'll allow all things for you,
please,
find your own chair and own wave

This is awesome and a beautiful assertion of one's own self without offending anybody! I love the economy of words here and the powerful message it conveys! This world is each man's stage where each one performs his own concert!

Do not push me in to second row. I am ever the first row person. First row of first class poem. Nicely penned.
