Every piece I write is about you
Every song reflects on our past
Every rhyme tells a story
Of a love that didn't last
In every sentence of every paragraph
In every letter of every word
There is this secret story
Of a boy who broke a girl
Deep within my thoughts
Hiding within my mind
There is a hidden pain
That cuts out every line
Haunting each and every memory
Revealed in each poem written each night
There are words that I just cannot say
Lines that will never make things right
And still I write for hours
To release these shattered words
To tell the story of when love just wasn't enough
To save me from losing my world
