You Are On Your Way Poem by Sandra jacks

You Are On Your Way

When you’ve got something good,
And you know it,
When you’ve lost a loved one,
And don’t show it,
When you do all the right things at all the right times,
But everything rights just not one of a kind,
You’ve got to,
Get up,
Stand up,
Move up ahead,
Don’t settle one second or soon you’ll be dead,
Don’t spend you time wasted on pointless obsessions,
Just keep on going,
That’s one of the lessons,
Don’t forget where you come from,
Oh know,
But when you get there,
It will show,
Don’t be ashamed of the past the defeated you,
Because when you succeed,
That’s how it treated you.
Don’t be alarmed if something strange happens now,
Because you’re on your way,
You’re on your way
