Oh may you be happy in your life today
And may joy and laughter be with you to stay
And of good luck and money may you have enough
To make life easier for you when the going gets tough,
You have drunk the dregs of life's bitter cup
And when the going got tough you did not give up
But fortune favours the brave and you hung in there
Of your change in luck you did not despair,
You are a true battler you did not give in
Those who try the hardest are destined to win
The odds were against you but you battled on
Your good times are coming your bad times are gone
You are the true battler you never say die
And good luck and happiness may you now enjoy.
