You Begin My Day Poem by Paul Sebastian

You Begin My Day

Weary night peals unveiling day begins
Morning love-rose you bring greetings
Heart’s sunrise, my day beginning
Armed for the day, easy for battling

Pass not a day without love-blessing
I’d dread facing that day, lacking
Like wind under my wings
I’d fly high, feeling like a king

You make me feel like a hero
Tempering, inviting me to grow
Indeed you’re a treasured friend
Coaxing constantly to high-ascend
