You Belong With Me Poem by Julie Smith

You Belong With Me

Rating: 4.0

Don't be blind
And be careful, see what they're trying to find
You might feel flattered, impressed and excited
But baby, believe me, it's all in your mind

Don't let them lure you into a wrong one-way street
Down the road of desolation and delusion
I've known you before they even heard of your name
And I'll stick with you through all the confusion

They might be adhered by a million or inherit high class relations
But my loyal heart makes us cross nations
Keep me in your heart and don't forget about me
The righteous one you belong to, you'll see

COMMENTS OF THE POEM
Me Poet Yeps Poet 16 January 2017

Any one who has sense will love a young one like you if he does not take care perhaps he did not deserve you but hold on to him some day he will be grateful to belong to you how I was as young for you we all want to long to belong
