You Came In Poem by Josh Burnett

You Came In

I was down to the very end about to lose everything.
Every girl I went with tried to do nothing but play me.
I was so tired and exhausted of playing and fighting.
I just seperated myself from everyone around me.

But you're coming in like a hurricane.
Turning my life upside down and inside out.
You're coming in like a tonado.
Turning my insides all around just by the sound.
You're coming in like an earthquake,
And my breath is taken away.

They all toyed around with my heart.
Until they tore me all apart,
And for a second I thought,
I would never trust another with my heart,
But you came to me and showed them all.

But you're coming in like a hurricane.
Turning my life upside down and inside out.
You're coming in like a tonado.
Turning my insides all around just by the sound.
You're coming in like an earthquake,
And my breath is taken away.

I knew I would never smile because of them.
As I was tore up from within.
My love would never be the same,
But then you came in.

Just like a hurricane.
Turning my life upside down and inside out.
You're coming in like a tornado.
Turning my insides all around just by the sound.
You're coming in like an earthquake,
And my heart is taken away.

I knew I would never love again.
Until you came in.
