You Can'T Forget Poem by Emmanuel Stone

You Can'T Forget

You can't forget the silence of thy eyes,
when all dreams go and leave you behind.
And staring into the empty night
where city lights outshine the stars
you feel alone and entrapped
when you can't see the stars beyond the sky

And in the day it all withers away,
the news reports some catastrophe,
you're accused of a sin you didn't do
and the birds keep singing to the blue sky.
And you feel so alone and entrapped
when you realise you can't see the stars behind the blue sky.
