You Don'T Need Me Poem by anna preston

You Don'T Need Me

Rating: 4.5

I heard the disappointment in your voice
I felt the pain underneath it
And I wish I could ease it for you
I saw your dreams crashed
I saw your heart break
And I wish I could help you
Pick the pieces up
But every time I step forward
You block me out, you stop me
You say you got it
And don't need any help
That hurts quite a lot
Coz I thought you might need me
If only once, to help you
I would gladly do it
