You Don't Think Of Me Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

You Don't Think Of Me

Rating: 5.0

How often you think of me
When the sky is totally blue?
When standing at the edge of
Our boundaries you shout at
The maid servant? Or when your
Dress come floating in the wind
And fall on our veranda? I rush
To pick it up and return to you
Shouting your name. How often
You think of me since the caged
Parrot stopped calling god in its
Coarse voice? I am there you know
Waiting to go back to those passionate
Moments of young love that gripped
Our hearts when we saw each other
While drawing water from the well
