You Find Love

You find love in the darndest places
When your heart is open
After it's been many times broken
And your fairy tale dream erases

You find love when you see beyond you
When compassion opens up your heart
And suddenly changes your point of view
Seeing someone else, besides just your blue

You find love when you give from inside
When you are bold to be you and don't hide
When you're honest and free
And dare to take a chance to confide

You find love when what you give
has no thought of you
When kindness is the guide
you follow and keep in view

You find love when someone else
is thankful for your care
When they open their heart
and find you standing there

You find love the moment you naturally embrace
When you hold their hand in yours
And feel humble when you touch their face
Love is a rarified feeling, one can never replace

Tell me not (Sweet) I am unkind,
That from the nunnery
Of thy chaste breast and quiet mind
To war and arms I fly.

True, a new mistress now I chase,
