You Granted Me Poem by Fatima Nusairat

You Granted Me

Rating: 5.0

YOU granted me..
your darkness your blindness
your cold your aging and
Longing never ruthless
In eleven poem and stanza

YOU granted me a bitter
and salty taste
never erased by 'licorice'
or 'Habiba Sweets'

YOU granted me..
your worst habits
Poems without rhyme,
memory remember nothing,
but thy name, and a few sterile letters.
