You Have No More Power Poem by Brodie Montgomery

You Have No More Power

Over and under, the saddened day,
Inward and outward, your hateful way.
Sorry and sorry repeated once more,
Whle i listen to you, slam the door.

Quietly hoping I'll be 'forgiven' one day,
Knowing that you, have nothing to say.
Mistakes and fires, and having some fun,
Lead to the end of a wonderful run.

Friends and enemies blur into one,
Looking away, whenever you come.
Glaring and sneering, whenever you can,
Making me feel, like nothing again.

So over and under, the saddened day,
And inward and outward, your hatefuls way.
But sorry and sorry are repeated no more,
While YOU listen to ME, shut the door.
