You Have Said - I Was Silent Poem by Benyamim Tsedaka

You Have Said - I Was Silent

You say,
You talk,
You ask,
You laugh,
You push me
With your arm,
You stamp your foot,
You Smile,
And I keep silent.

You wonder,
You are curious,
'Why'?
You have betrayed
And preferred
To be with me
Instead of the other?
You were angry,
You were unhappy,
And I kept silent.

And when I opened
My mouth
To say,
AS a dream you have gone
And disappeared
