You kissed my scars
and promised you would be here forever
I felt your tears
and another scar appeared
for the pain I made you feel

I sang your life
But the song was about me

Look for me in sunshine
and find me in the dark
It's where I want to be

Don't fix the scars
They remind me
Don't forget the pain
It's still there

Those endless moments before the dawn,
the night is my torture and my relief

A moment before the beggining
we were made, as one
and I will run to you
when everybody's greater than my mind...

When I see your eyes
I see a darker hurt
If I could mend your pain,
If I could fight your fights,
If I could wash out dirt....
