You Left Me Poem by Elizabeth Benedict

You Left Me

You left me at a time
When I was tiny and red
You left me at a time
When I couldn't even crawl out of my bed
You left me at a time when I was too young to know
Who you were
What you were about
And da**ed if I know
Where you are, now
Or if you ever even think about me
As you hug your wife
And sip your beer or tea

Do you know how many a tear
I've cried for you?
And all of these years of h*ll you put me through?
I only wish I could've said I knew you

Liz, Get up on your hind legs and do it! , If you don't ... you will always question. Even if you get yelled at ... at least you will have more answers than you do now. B.V.A.
