You Look Like The Perfect Fish Poem by Danielle Hanson

You Look Like The Perfect Fish

The way your body catches the sun and holds on
The way your body is jealous of the shadows

The slink in your back pocket
You turn fin into fine with the flick of your hips

You have a mouth that devours irresistibly
But I, my sweetness, am the land
