You Must Keep Keeping On Sir Poem by Francis Duggan

You Must Keep Keeping On Sir

Rating: 3.0

He feels his life is boring his better days are gone
But a tiny voice within him says you must keep keeping on
You must keep keeping on sir you are too young to die
You must live through your bad days for your good days to enjoy.

You must keep keeping on sir don't give all hope away
Since you will be dead forever the tiny voice did say
So many end their life by the way of the gun or dangling from a rope
Be brave hang in there mister for where there's life there's hope.

You must keep keeping on sir don't let life get you down
You're not the only person there's lots more in this Town
Who at times feel suicidal a depressed state of mind is nothing new
There are other people out there who feel depressed like you.

You must keep keeping on sir so said the tiny voice
Of life you have but one chance you cannot live twice
Tomorrow may be better too soon you will be dead
And think about the good times and the better days ahead.
