You'Re That Special Poem by Harry Bryant

You'Re That Special

There is no other way,
for me to say,
how much I love you,
than to be honest and true,
so here I am,
all over again,
standing with my heart in my hand,
if I offer it to you,
what will you do,
will you accept it or toss it away? ,
now I need to say,
will you take it and share yours with me? ,
that is my dream,
I always mean,
to keep you forever, you see,
I don't know what to do,
when I'm not with you,
because you're that special to me.
