You did not wait for me
I don't know why.
You did not wait for me
instead you said goodbye.

I wish you had waited
for time to go by.
I wish you had waited
but alone I cry.

Time rushes by
the wheels of time turning.
My mind remains confused
my body for you yearning.

I don't know what to do
I'm trying to be strong.
I'm still not over you
the pain keeps holding on.

I'm dying inside
my emotions I try to hide.
I wish you had waited
but instead you said goodbye.
