You Said It Poem by Abhinav Baruah

You Said It

Rating: 3.5

You said it louder than words
Much louder than thunder storm
Of love and dedication
Of unbroken promises
Falling leaves rose again in rhythm of winds
And dead souls found a refuge somewhere at horizon

You said it
Smoke of revolution broke the chain
Caged bird sang the song of open door
Poor man knocked the heavens’ door
And distant blue mountain paved the way for green fields

And you leap yourself in the torrents of pretence
