You Should Know I Love You Poem by norman hale

You Should Know I Love You

You should know I love you
As I hold you in my arms
Holding you just so tightly
Keeping you safe from all harm

You should know I love you
As I look into your eyes
For love is the one thing
That can't be hidden in a disguise

You should know I love you
As I speak my words of love
For love is the most precious thing
Sent to us from up above

You should know I love you
Beyond a shadow of a doubt
As long as we love one another
Honey, that's what love is all about

You should know I love you
From deep within my chest
And I'll always love you baby
Until they lay me down to rest

You should know I love you
Just as sure as the clouds roll by
And my love for you will keep growing
Even in the sweet by and by
