  You swept me away
took me in arms sway
gazedly we searched
dare i say,
that single dropp of pearl.
From the corner of your eye swirled
when fell soft on me
and gently it evoked
our long lost desires revoked
when fur Elise
fills sombre air

P.S. For Elise is a famous piano solo by Ludwig van Beethoven (1770 - 1827)

How romantic! A true lover can only compose so touchy lines.
Thanks

Great Poet

You made me reach out for the gobblet of wine thats not there
Fur Elise was easier to get.

Keep writing and I will keep reading.

I play Fur Elise on the piano. Beethoven is one of my favorites. Now, when I play this on my piano, I will remember your poem! DC
