You’ve Been Our Inspiration

We look to you…., to be our guide….,
Our hearts can feel you…., by our side….,
Deep in our souls…, we're convinced…,
You’ve Been Our Inspiration….,
You’ve Been Our Inspiration.

Can you realize…., all you are…,
Something more…, than just a star….,
Through ups and downs….,
From where we came….,
Confidence kicked in….,
And who’s to blame….? ? ?
No doubt it’s you….,
You, you, you….,
We're blessed by you....,
You’ve Been Our Inspiration….,
You’ve Been Our Inspiration.

Inspiration has to come from a point of confidence in ourselves, I think. Than we are more open to accepting the inspiration of another...Think we need humility to get to that point.....but then, what do I know? .....I know that I found this beauty AND, one that I can leave a comment on....Whoop-Dee-Doo.~~~love, moi.xo (Report) Reply

Inspiration comes from the ultimate void of our minds and souls, when there's a presence who comes in and says'Boy! ! I've got some WORK to do here! Cancel the opera, rooster-fights, and ice skating on a few souls.' Good one! ! xxElysabeth (Report) Reply

Poem of the Day

poet Henry David Thoreau

My books I'd fain cast off, I cannot read,
'Twixt every page my thoughts go stray at large
Down in the meadow, where is richer feed,
And will not mind to hit their proper targe.
