You wore violets then,
when we first met
Braided in your
silken hair
It was a day I won't forget
I can still visualize you
standing there ~

One glimpse of you 'twas
when I knew
I found true love at last
I'll always love you darling
you are my future
and my past ~

I bring you this bouquet
of violets today
As a token of my
love for thee
In the mirror of your pretty
eyes I can see
That our love shalt last,
through all eternity ~
