Young Poets Poem by Heather Burns

Young Poets

A young poet.!
So naive
with
pen
in
hand

Spilling
emotions
upon
a page

Autumn
leaves
turn to
gold

Catching
in the
wind
blow
away

Angel
flakes
of white
cover
the
ground,
creating
magic

Thoughts
of a
lifetime
surface

Secrets
of the
ages
come
into
play..
