Your 2 Blame Poem by Saturday Chikezie Promise

Your 2 Blame

As I look, through the cold dark night
Doubter's are dancing, to the devil's delight
Confidence has left me
Now I'm just a body
Cast in shadow, by the streetlights

I hold my dreams, fragile in my hands
People are scathing, put me down cos they can
Refusing to listen
Refuse to be beaten
Ambitions that soar, can so easily land

So listen up, or don't listen at all
If it makes you feel good, it makes you feel tall
Your living the lie
Your covering shame
But one thing's that's bare, is you'll take the blame
