Your Deity. Poem by Tim Underwood

Your Deity.

Rating: 3.5

Your deity?
Oh, passion all consuming.
Unique in comparison to Mankind.
Walking paths of tens of hundreds of years.
Always, waiting, waiting, waiting!
Longing for clarity.
Kissed by death.
The road least traveled.
Humbled by time.
Embarrassed by excess.
Wanting and hoping.
Anticipating the future.
Longing for fellowship and success.
Kicking the bucket for one night's rest.
