Your Difficult Test

Only a few more days
To get through the haze
of your life's current, difficult, test.

And you know full well
that you want to just yell
because you are tired of all this mess!

But we want you to know
that you have emitted a glow
that makes us all feel so very blessed.

The strength that you have shown
tells others they're not alone
and maybe God does really know best.

Because he only picks his best soldiers
To move the biggest boulders
and show everyone how to pass a difficult test.

Dedicated to our friend Karen Wilson Ragni
who is going through radiation treatments.
One of our brightest examples. Be well, kiddo.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

I woke up this morning and wanted to send a smile to a friend who is at the end of her daily radiation treatments and tomorrow is her birthday. She has been a light in how she has handled her ordeal.
