Your Eyes. Poem by Honny Zubedi

Your Eyes.

Rating: 5.0

Why am I so sad today;
When deeply thinking about yesterday.
Yes, how she broke my heart;
Who claimed, I'm her integral part.

The cupid shot his gold arrow at me;
I was enchanted by beauty possessed by thee.
The only moment you were looking at me;
But he shot his lead arrow at thee.

Why did you look at me and smile;
With that light of love in your eyes.
I saw that light only a few times;
Why have you darkened that light.
