Your Eyes Poem by Winter Raine

Your Eyes

Rating: 5.0

Your eyes show me the heavens
Too pure to describe with a word

Your eyes show me the future
Too bright for the naked eye

Your eyes show me the present
A gift to spare no expense

Your eyes show me the past
No regrets, no mistakes, no scars

Your eyes show me a journey
One I am waiting to take with you

Your eyes show me perfection
My child, your eyes show me you.

I love poems about kids, and this is one of the best I've seen yet. Your words express exactly how I feel about my children, my hopes and dreams for them. Bravo!
