Your Feet... Poem by Leeza Bird

Your Feet...

I think I started loving your feet
From that moment you stepped in the train that I was in
Your feet made a step for a journey of thousand miles to begin
Sometimes we dont really know the destination we come with our own walk....

I think I started loving your feet
When they brought you to me every time
They support you to stand still or just walk on
They do much better than me, I can just wish...

I think I started loving your feet
When I saw them barely dancing merrily
When I saw them sunk deep into the soft sand
When you used your toes to pinch me: Ouch!

I think I started loving your feet
When I felt your weight as you put them right on mine
I wished I could hold you that close for whole life
Together we would go our never-ending path...

I think I started loving your feet
They thumbed the ground when you ran, and wander when you want
Walked gently, or stood on toes, just take your path less trodden
Turn left, turn right - you choose something true to you - they are always together...

And sometimes when i cant look into you eyes, I do prefer
To look at your feet, they will always have my true feelings.
They taught me how to put-self- into-your-shoes to share with you everything
And the lesson they teach: no matter where we go we must always be together./.
