Like hours that pass
through sands of time
in a hour glass
here alone I stand
with your love in my hand
and arms wide open

Waiting here in the wind
in fields of green grass
where your love is only mine
we don't have to pretend
two hearts that wouldn't mend

Standing under a sky so blue
where the sun will always shine
even in a wintery snow
where your love is all I know
time after time again

And in days of rain
your love will always remain
in a world we can't refrain
as I close my eyes to repose
where your love only grows
