Your Mother, Our Mother Poem by Jackson Nyoho

Your Mother, Our Mother

We implore you, oh Nature
to feel this deep vacuum,
This journey you placed us oh Nature
is that which we cannot behold
The beauty it offers.
Like a stop tag on a proceeding train.

Your Journey, our worries
you departed just too soon;
but a fruitful legacy was left behind,
such which cannot be beaten by our time.
Your path, we trade; your path, we follow

Your song dances through our minds,
the sweat symphony of passion,
we cannot cease singing to it,
will never stop, for that is the reason of our existence.
Your wishes and hard doings, is what has made us rulers.
You are a mother, so precious to remember, so dynamic to forget.

MY MOTHER, OUR MOTHER
Your blessed memories has done it all,
not all by your physical powers
but by the graceful footpath and light of wisdom,
left behind for us to follow since the
28TH day of MAY,1997.

You memory will continue to linger.
once again,
May your soul, oh pace-setter and Man builder
Continue to rest without fear in Peace.

We miss u mama

dedicated to Bello Lawal, in memory of his dear mother.
