Your Own Worst Enemy Poem by sam naser

Your Own Worst Enemy

You hear a pounding, so you crawl under you bed.
You see a pair of unfamiliar feet trudging towards the bed.
You think he'll just pass by
he stops right in his tracks next to the bed and
ducks down and screamed at you.
You look to your right and
your heart stops dead, because next to you is a rabid dog,
about to bite you head off,
growling,
starving...

You wake up on your bed, sweating like a dog. You get out of
bed to go down and eat breakfast. You are almost out of the r-
oom, but curiosity gets the best of you and you check under your bed. You step
to the middle of the bed and kneel down to check.
under the bed is you, screaming, with a rabid dog about to eat
your head off.
