Your Soul Is Leaving Poem by John Paul Cosato

Your Soul Is Leaving

As your soul is leaving and you stop breathing, demons fall from the sky

You look towards heaven, like on 911, but only to ask why

Where am I going you plead Father God

Lucifer answers so perfectly flawed

You’re with us now sinner, No Father, No God

Unforgiven, they drag you below – Forsaken you reap, what you have sown

Lord of Lords and King of Kings – Hear my prayer, give me wings

The breath of life I take from thee – Salvation is gone, a gift from me

Help me Help me God almighty, give me one more chance

I’ll live for you, forget the past, forgive me now in advance

Don’t leave me here for I believe – Save me now and you will see

It’s too late to save thee now – To Satan himself you will bow

Forever and ever you will be – Apart from Christ for eternity
