Your Toll Poem by Anthony Degilio

Your Toll

Death encompasses our lives,
Strike down the many souls,
Sent to the city that thrives,
Beneath the green knolls.
Head for your goal,
A sight you cannot miss,
Pay the ferryman’s toll,
Behold the city of Dis.
Eternal pain approaches,
Judgment has come to pass,
Crawl amongst the roaches,
In your home at long last.
