Zany You Are! Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Zany You Are!

My heart, longs to see you!
To placate thy ire, this, soul injured, yearns.
Being wounded, I recall, your prick and reek.
My heart, longs to see you.

Kicked on my nose, saying fiery, ‘Go away’!
You could have pummeled my ditties flowing slow.
Or, you could let loose your, satire virulent.
Punchy poems are very hard, to glean their themes concealed.
My heart, longs to see you!

Weird you’re good friend, weighing up not easy.
Don’t veer hate on me, which you have on men.
Please, yield no place to, emotions unreined.
A zinger makes you rile and I yelp being frail!
My heart longs to see you!

Note: You can sing in the tune of Tamil film song:
“ Unnai kan theduthe”
