Zeus And The Olympians Poem by ROGEL FRANCIS SORIOSO

Zeus And The Olympians

He holds in his hand a thunderbolt
Wherever it hits the land will jolt
No one could see his highness and majesty
Its a symbol of his humbleness and modesty
He could be standing behind or in front of you
Watching you eat or sleep you'll never knew
Your atomic bomb would feel like a pinch to my toes
For no one will survive once his anger blows
He could make the ocean wash away your houses and property
He created the laws of our society and authority
He could make everything in the earth and heavens move
He would even kill hundreds and thousands just to prove
He created what science and medicine consider as real
As if these people really knows whats the deal
He laughs at those people who claims to be strong and powerful
But he is pleased with those honest and thoughtful
Side by side together they ride
They roam the universe with pride
The secrets of his family will forever remain hidden
If your lucky enough you'll get to see their garden
Maybe you'll get to enter Olympus where they celebrate and feast
Of course you'd only get in if allowed by the beast
The closest comparison I could possibly make
Is an ant swimming in an ocean or lake
The ant is relatively smaller than the body of water
To find and grasp the truth for science is so hard to gather
If you could only see a fraction of the totality
Then how could you possibly conclude that its already the reality
You need us so you could all survive
Even though we are lonely we will still remain alive
We will still exist without your prayers and worship
But we could give you so much like knowledge and a starship
We are the Olympians your creator and god
Our beings became your souls, flesh and blood
A tribute to Abraham Lincoln my father
