Zoo

Rating: 5.0

One day school children
Said to their teacher,
'Sir, Sir! We want to visit zoo
What is its feature?

Teacher replied, 'Dear children
You must have look,
Zoo is a place of creatures
The next week we have to book.'

It was the next week
The teachers and the taught,
Made a train journey
To Kolkata they had many thoughts.

Children frisk with frolic
Did have entrance to zoo,
They saw decorated place
And they heard sweet coo.

They saw tigers and lions
In a iron cage,
They were afraid of them
And too they did praise.

Children saw the monkeys' jumping
From tree to edifice,
They did gobble and glean
Hurriedly like the mice.

Children bought pea nuts and fruits
From a nearby huckster,
Offering these to monkeys and chimpanzees
They enjoyed with teacher.

Different types of animals and reptiles
Eagerly the children saw?
Elephant, Giraffe, Ostrich, snakes
And aquatic birds in cistern as per law.

They met some foreigners
Hill-Billy and beggar,
In a hubble-bubble
They gave coins to beggar with eager.

They thanked the teachers
Thanked the Nature and God,
Teacher said them, 'Children!
Let's come back praying him in nod.

A must-do action for the children by the schools...a zoo-visit is definitely purposeful which helps the children learn all about animals quite enjoyably....very interesting and important craft
