Zooming Heart Poem by Claude Simpson

Zooming Heart

I am crying over you;

Your love can break me through;

Your love can break my heart;

Your love, the same from start.

I see love in your eyes

Many a time we say ‘good byes’.

Will you still love me tomorrow

Or will our love dispel with sorrow?

Maybe I am somebody’s fool

Though defying years of love at school;

Maybe you are somebody’s baby

Notwithstanding the urge to be my lady.

Never realize how much your love means to me

Though fair and transparent for the world to see.

Never realize how much I love you

Though hugs and kisses are real and true.

We seek a love to survive a storm

And cherish a feeling that is pure and warm.

Holding true to a purified love

As a special gift from God above.
