Once Trusted Now A Thief(Not Really A Poem) - Poem by Grace Hays

i trusted you once
my friends and enemies
left my door unlocked for my babysitter
and i suspect her the most
for she was staying with me
how could you come in
and take the one thing
that was helping me go back to school
if it wasn't for all the personal things
and the homework saved onto that computer
i wouldn't be as worried
how could you sit there and lie to my face
not only lie to me...which is bad enough
but also lie to the cops
i don't know where you put it
and i don't know where you are now
i just want my laptop computer back
because then i can finish my homework
and keep getting As in my classes
oh don't you see
the stress you are putting on me
for you were trusted once
but now you are a thief

What a terrible thing to have your laptop stolen... I hope the police find the leads they need soon... and if she did this awful thing, she is punished. Thinking of you, Lesa (Report) Reply
