Time - Poem by joey cooksey

WHY DO WE CRY IN THE SUNSET WHEN ALL ELSE IS GONE AND THE ASHES OF TIMES COME TO END. WHY DO WE CRY IN THE SUNSET WHEN THE EARTH SHAKES AND THE WATERS RISE AND DRAG THE LAND BACK INTO THE SEAS FROM WHICE THEY COME. WHY DO WE CRY IN THE MOON LIGHT WHEN THE SUN NO LONGER RISES AND THE WORLD TURNS COLD AS ICE AND ALL LIFE STARTS TO DIE. WHY DO WE CRY IN THE DARKNESS OF TIME WHEN THE MOON IS GONE AND THE LAST BIT OF THE WORLD DIES. WE STOP AND CRY IN THE DARKNESS OF TIME FOR THERE IS NO LONGER A SUN OR MOON TO RISE OR SET OR WATERS TO PLAY OR SWIM IN SO WHAT ELCE IS THERE TO DO THEN TO CRY IN THE VOID OF TIME
