No Escape

One of the most dangerous things in the world is called love
More potent, more powerful than any drug
Feels so good but hurts so bad
So bipolar, so confusing, so sad
Everyday proves to me why I don't wanna be loved or should I say fall in love
I've seen people head over hills
I've seen people so broken, so damaged unable to heal
Im always told 'You're gonna go through your first heartbreak'
Heartbreak? Is there another option I can take?
Questions flow like, 'Is it required? ' 'Do i have to? '
Answers like 'Of course, someone's gonna take advantage and not love you for you? '
I get it. No exit, no escape
No warnings, no precautions to take
Love is not what I want but will always need
Causing my soul to rip and my heart to bleed
