Rachel Parcel Poems

Take this pain and wipe it clean. I wanna new start, a fresh beginning.
Drag me under and feel my heart beat. Air's thin my breath is heavy.
I reach out and grab a limb, for now that's the only thing keeping me alive.
The limbs black and weak, don't know how much longer til it breaks, and i fall. Voices in my mind tell me to let go. But my heart says there's so much more to live for. Times running out, better make a choice, live or die?

My Hour Glass

Take this pain and wipe it clean. I wanna new start, a fresh beginning.
Drag me under and feel my heart beat. Air's thin my breath is heavy.
I reach out and grab a limb, for now that's the only thing keeping me alive.
The limbs black and weak, don't know how much longer til it breaks, and i fall. Voices in my mind tell me to let go. But my heart says there's so much more to live for. Times running out, better make a choice, live or die?
My mind races, is this the end? I see my life in a hour glass with only a few
grains of sand left. Will i really let this hour glass tell me when my life will end?
I make a choice, I let go. What once was, now will never be. All there is, is here and now. Anticipating the end, the adrenalin rushes through my body. I look down, i see a light, as i get closer, it gets brighter. I hit the ground with immense force. I just lay there, am i dead? Can't be, i can feel the wind on my face. I open my eyes to see clear blue skies and a note in my hand, i open the note and read, 'I love you, and will never leave you.' This is my second chance at a brand new beginning.
