tell me your secrets
and i'll tell you mine,
because some days i'm sober
but some days i'm fine.
and i'm so sick of lying and
being afraid
of the world and my thoughts and
mistakes that i've made
and the words that i've kept
written here in my heart,
the stories pour out once
we know where to start.
the world keeps on moving
and we don't know where but
this weight seems to lift
once we choose not to care and
this life can be fun or this life
can be bland,
holding your hand life is
better unplanned and
a friend like you is
sweeter than wine,
so tell me
your secrets,
