"How to seek the answer? " inquired a simpleton,

His feeble intellect believing the myth of pawns,

"Ask questions beyond those of your intellect",

And he thought he'll too become an enlightened graying man…

The penman looked up from the foolscap sheet of his,

He smirked at the naivety of the inquirer,

For that peasant of thought forgot, you need to beat the weak,

"Confirm the kill, if you seek to confirm the skill"

He, the scribe, leaned back to tune into the entropy,

"What you know, what you see is simply a pictograph,

An ironical machine, going round and round like a carousel,

Only to represent a linear occurring, much like our joys"

"How be it, like our joy? " asked the one of dull mind and bright eyes,

"Because they neither return nor fold back unto themselves,

You perceive them as bygone memories, ongoing tortures and yet to come, but might not come, hopes and dreams"

So replied the one of bright thoughts and fear of dull drab blank sheets…

"But…where is the new questions, where is the mud of conundrum? "

The seeker of answers must be awaiting some dark knowledge,

"I recognize your thirst but this is not where you may find the delusion."

And with that lament, the penman lost himself on the xanthous sheets again.
