Through the years

Because, I had listening ears

Make my heart beat fast
I believe we have a love
That will surely last

The sun slowly leaves the sky
I know I'm going to start to cry
Because you are the one
Who's telling us goodbye
...

If each and every person
Recongnizes one another
There's no telling what
We may all discover
...

If ever you need anything
All you have to do is ask
Whatever it is you need
Nothing, is too big of a task
...

Standing in the shower
As the water sprays my face
I somehow wish right now
I could be in a better place
...

Everytime I'm with you
I'm in a happy daze
I don't know how you do it
You just seem to always amaze
...

I didn't think I'd make it
When God took you away
But I guess I must confess
It gets better every day
...

Is there another word?
That can replace goodbye
If there is
I'd like to give it a try
