As I look out my window

Two little children
Born premature
Their survival
Was unsure

Bars closed
Restaurants open
Take out only
That's no joking
...

I don't look to the future
Because the future is not mine
I live each and every day
One day at a time

Where’s the smile
That you use to wear
I look at you
I don’t see it there

One day she came along
Like words to a song

When I saw her standing there

I hope you have a great day
I hope it’s warm and sunny
I’ll be thinking of you
Just like I always do honey

Has lost one of their own
A beautiful soul
Who's been called home
