Ray Mesa Poems

You nervous laughter, It refrains
If for one second it ended, I’d surely go insane
And nothing that’s passed the stars has inspired me before
Till’ I saw a robin passing around the glow
...

I was walking home one night
And I feel down a manhole
I screamed until I saw the light
I reached for a hand to save me from the hell hole
...

We all gather around, tossing cards, flipping over checkers to make kings
Sit around and talk about all the good old things
I used to be a football star, Jackson used to be a running back
Too bad none of us could last
...

Old Friend, My My You've lost it all
Old Friend, Worst of all
You lost me
...

Cars speeding in each direction
Some are busy, Some are late
Some are new kids giveing rich impressons
Some are white knuckle deamons filled with resentment and hate
...

Writing poetry on sidewalks
and tapping this rhythm to the steps you walked away
Singing sonnets on railroads
and drumming / the number/ of tickets you bought
...

You can't eat food on a table with three legs
So my family use it to pile the letters from the bank
And you just can't get jet leg
when you are so below the rank
...

Awfull facts, Nooses are tied
This reason, This reason is mine
Simple rules, We wished to fallow
Two little hearts, Kind and hallow
...

Tears from a lion
Soldiers in a line
Jungle beast, running free
It's where we go every dream
...

I'm locked up in a cage
With a thousand locks
I'm too full of rage
to show you my shock
...

The roads are closed
I’m stuck in my car
And in this silence my thoughts arose
My life has been so crippled, so mar
...

She's like a barbie doll
She never calls me
But that one day
On some person's grave
...

With the turn of a dial a bullet howls through
the skull that once held so many dirty thoughts
In a split secound, you are ruined
Your're stuck in a trap and caught
...

Don't ask or complain
You got your gifts
Don't spit so vain
Don't lean into the rift
...

I saw a girl today while I was in middle of a yawn
She looked back at me and stuck out her tongue

She stepped over my lawn to say hello
...

I won't die untill you apoligize
Won't Die untill you Die
Oh Jesus, Oh Judas
My Moods
...

Here I am, in perfect form
Take me or leave me
Grab your cigarettes, you only have 20 minutes
To Burn your life away
...

I have this pain
that has no single name
It's existitng and it's remnessing
I just miss, The sudden bliss I got when we screamed
...

Sudden excuse
More and more use
For the reason of abuse
Amuse me
...

I just can't find a word, I can't find any symbol to explain
This god damn sick and disturbed pain
climbing and swimming in my veins

The Best Poem Of Ray Mesa

A Four Letter Word For Regret (A Love Poem For Someone I Don'T Love)

You nervous laughter, It refrains
If for one second it ended, I’d surely go insane
And nothing that’s passed the stars has inspired me before
Till’ I saw a robin passing around the glow
And nothing beyond my grasp has tortured me more then
That passing robin in the sky

I’d fallow you into the darkness
And I’ll keep you safe, just grab hold of my wrist
I would easily wander with you into the dark
If only then we could reveal our true hearts

What passes the sky tonight, Will not faze me with the slightest effect
Because the only beauty I know of but can’t see, is the thing beating under your chest
I could swallow nectar, Water from the sea, but until I hold you I’ll get no rest
With every passing sneeze, I’ll give you my bless
When the time comes, I’ll give you my best

I say we leave the world behind, Mistaken it for a cardboard cutout
And keep running until we find a place to be
A place where people like you and me
Could settle, Rattle a ring in a box and live free

But my words, Are nothing more then initials compared to how I feel
For I couldn’t speak them in regular words, they must be felt
But the cards fell; this is the way they deal
And for unspoken words, I’m caged in my own hell
